I am an astrophysicist and with a diverse and multi-decadal background in an eclectic selection of research and engineering pursuits.
My research interests include Galactic star formation and the interstellar medium, and I presently serve as the co-chair for the LSST (Large Synoptic Survey Telescope) Stars, Milky Way, and Local Volume Science Collaboration. I am a member of the International Astronomical Union with a focus on Division H: Interstellar Matter and the Local Universe.

Awards and Honors
Peregrine McGehee (b. 1960), is an American astronomer and a contributor to the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. He is best known for his studies of star formation and the interstellar medium, and for his contributions to the SDSS I/II open cluster survey.
